I have a question for Hedwig. Hedwig, we have an adopted rescue dog who is an angel in the house, very sweet and loving. However, when she is outside, she goes crazy when she sees another dog – barking furiously and lunging around, long after the other dog has disappeared. This happens even if the other dog is totally calm and ignores our Molly completely. She loves to be outside but walks are often a misery because of this problem. What can we do?

Hedwig: Thanks for having a show, as a potential servant (human), it is very helpful to hear your perspective. Tell me besides Christobel, what other animals do you like to share your life with? At this point in your “rehab” from your very, very unfortunate beginnings are you willing to let other dogs into your life?

    Dear Hedwig,

    Dear Hedwig,

Congratulations on your show! Your insight exceeds your weight in grams.

Now, my question – I am a well disposed Labrador Retriever and have been adopted into a wonderful home -my human servant is splendidly solicitous and caring. Hence my problem, I share my home with 2 felines who were in residence prior to my arrival. While my felines are friendly, they frequently petition our human servant for affection. When this occurs, I swarm my human, and proffer my unlimited affection on the felines who leave in disgust. I have them well trained! … except, I have not yet succeeded in training the felines to offer their fealty to me. Please advise!

    Hope
